Marion County Lake does not take reservations. They do provide water and 30 amp electricity on a first come, first serve basis at $13.00/day. Cable is an additional $1.75/day. Dump station.
August 13th - Thursday – Early Bird Arrivals

August 14th - Friday – Arrivals
Breakfast - On your own
9:00 a.m. - Golf - Contact Ron Conner if you wish to play
Non-golfers may shop and/or go site seeing. There are many restaurants, antique shops, and other shops in Marion, including Duckwalls. Refer to your packet. Keep your eyes open for the 57 Rhino mascots throughout town.
Noon - Lunch on your own
2:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. tour of The Copper Shed - Located 5 miles south of Marion on
Depart Sunflower Road & 1-1/2 miles west on 140th Avenue. The Copper Shed offers a large selection of designs made from copper, brass and other metals. They specialize in sunflowers, wheat and other Kansas themes.

August 15th – Saturday
Breakfast - On your own
10:45 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. tour of R&L Creative Carvings offers hand carved, quality built
Depart gun cabinets, furniture, doors, wall décor, and chainsaw carvings by Richard
Sardou. He is known for carving the large bear for Bass Pro Shop.
Lunch - On your own
6:00 p.m. - Potluck dinner at the south end of the large metal building. Hosts will provide hamburgers, brats, hot dogs and drinks. Bring your favorite salad or dessert
and your own service.
Chapter meeting will follow potluck.
Note: We have reserved the building Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until midnight for cards, games
or visiting.
August 16th - Sunday
9:00 a.m. - Your hosts will serve a finger food breakfast with coffee and juice. We will furnish plates, plastic wares and drink cups. Church services will follow.
Marion County Lake is located 2 miles east, 1-1/2 miles south of the city of Marion or 1 mile
West of US77 on Highway 56, 1-1/2 miles south
