PRAIRIE WINNIES
OCTOBER 2008 MEETING MINUTES

Four Seasons RV Acres near Abilene was the site of the gathering of Prairie Winnies at the annual Show and Tell hosted by Darell and Carolyn Senn.  Sandra Veh called the business meeting to order and the roll was call with 22 member units present.  The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.  Shirley Hudson, treasurer, reported a balance on hand of $2,282.04.

Sandra welcomed all attendees.  She thanked the hosts, Stan and Roberta Pearson and Bob and Rosetta Bartels. 

The last minute details of the trip to Branson in November were discussed.  Plans for 2009 GNR were reviewed.   It was agreed that the winter gathering would be Jan. 25 2009 at Smolan and that we would use the north end of the main room, gathering at 10:30 a.m.

John and Sandra gave each of us a box of Russell Stover chocolates and everyone smiled a big thank you.  The birthdays and anniversaries were announced and happy birthday/anniversary was sung.
