Well, another GNR is in the books. We tried to make Kansas "Stand Out" in the picture, but all our hard work was apparently not able to be seen from the distance they had to take this picture. Oh well, back to the drawing board!
Congrats to the Beanbag Baseball Team who took 3rd place this year. My only regret is that I made it in this picture, but Phyllis (who spend all day out there and really deserved to make this pic) had to leave shortly before the end of the last game.

We definately made a splash during opening ceremonies, and made the "Big Time" as Kristie Renchin made our group part of the poster. She sent us this pic, so it's only fitting that we add it here:
I received LOADS of pictures from everyone, and I gladly added them here. There are almost 500 pics from the "Bigger Kids", and this year, we had a roving photo journalist attending the kids activities and we are excited to add her to our web page staff! Additionally, thanks to my friend Jeremiah, we now have a different way to look at the pictures. I like this as it is easier (and cleaner) to make the photo pages, and it is more like what we had with the earlier software. When you want to look at a larger image of the picture, just click on it and it will fill the computer. Please let me know what you think of this the next time we get together.

For all who are tired of the rough roads on I-35 thru Missouri & Iowa Joe Hudson provided this alternate route:
Go to Omaha(any way you choose) from there take I-29 North to just South of Sioux City, Iowa, take Hwy 75 North, at LeMars, Iowa take Hwy 60 North.
Now it is your decision, you can take Hwy 18 from 60 into Clear Lake or Hwy 9 from 60 into Forrest City.
Hwy's 75 and 60 are very good 4 lane divided roads.
