9:00 a.m. Visit El Quartelejo Museum. Experience a timeline of history that goes back more than 70 million years to present.
10:15 a.m. Arrive at Monument Rocks. Monument Rocks has been chosen as one of the 8 Wonders of Kansas. This area was part of the vast inland sea 70 million years ago.
12:00 noon: Lunch at Camp Christy.
1:00 p.m. Just minutes from Camp Christy you will find Battle Canyon. History will take you back to 1878 where the last battle in Kansas happened. The den is still visible today where the children and women hid.
2:00 p.m. Travel to Lake Scott State Park. Lake Scott is hidden within a Kansas prairie, the park is an oasis of natural springs, deep wooded canyons, and craggy bluffs. Lake Scott is very rich in history. El Cuartelejo Indian Pueblo is a National Site. The Taos Indians constructed a pueblo in 1664. These ruins were discovered by Herbert Steele in the mid 1890’s and excavated by two men from the University of Kansas. This site allows the visitor to see the site with its foundation reconstructed.
3:00 p.m. Tour ends for today. The rest of the day will be available for you to enjoy more of our unique town. You might want to check out downtown and go shopping, go play a round of golf or possibly visit our antique stores.
6:00 p.m. Tonight lets all get together and share our memories about what we learned today and have a huge BBQ.

9:30 a.m. This morning we will load on the busses for our Buffalo Tour. Please wear casual wear and comfortable shoes. We will be up close and personal with the buffalo. We are honored to have Richard Duff as our guide.
11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served
1:00 p.m. For the next couple of hours we will have a very well known artist, Jerry Thomas to explain his wildlife paintings, sport paintings and his series featuring military posts of Kansas. Each of his paintings tells a story. This art gallery just had their grand opening on the lst weekend of May. Jerry Thomas was born and raised in Scott City and as being citizens of Scott City we feel very honored for Jerry to have chosen this area to display his beautiful paintings and open this art gallery.
3:00 p.m. Again, this will be some free time for each of you.
6:00 p.m. Tonight we will be dining at the Majestic Theatre. This theatre was built in 1922. Currently the Majestic is now utilized as a restaurant featuring original interior, components including a decorative ceiling, wall lighting and a large wall dampening tapestries.

9:00 a.m. After an open breakfast and a small church service, we will remember our wonderful memories to found at Scott County Kansas.
