We’re looking forward to having you come and camp @ the Nebels . We’re 4 miles south of Smith Center on Hwy 281 or 5 miles North of Hwy. #9 and 281 junction. It’s the log house on the highway, not the one that sets back from the road, and we’re right by the golf course, on the east side of the road,,,,,so golfers, bring your clubs! We’ll park you around our place; we have dump stations and water. We well have 20 amp for all and some 30 and 50 amp.
Thurs . June 7th: Arrive anytime. Thurs. night we’ll have the grills on , so bring your own meat and side dishes…We’ll have a home made Ice cream social to go along with it.
Friday June 8th: Breakfast on your own
9:30 a.m. : Carpool to Ron’s Restoration @ Glade…. He restores cars for people all over the country, and has even restored a few for Jay Leno…Should be interesting! From there we’ll go to Phillipsburg and eat lunch @ El Ade Oros Mexican Restaurant. On our way back to Smith Center, we’ll go tour Higley Cabin, where Home on the Range was written..
Rest of afternoon on our own…
Friday evening: Social hour, then Bar-b-que provided by host,,,,,,,,,with a SURPRISE!
Sat. June 9th: Breakfast on your own
9:30 A.M. Drive into Smith Center and go to Bill Hawes residence…He’s went on Safari’s all his life and he’ll share his impressive stories and “ trophy “ wild life game. We”ll leave Bill’s and drive a mile back to town and visit Beaver Creek Taxidermy and see a demonstration of taxidermy.
Lunch and afternoon on your own.
6:30 p.m. Supper @ Ingelboro Mansion in Smith Center. Home style Fried Chicken meal and a tour of Ingelboro’s. (meal cost is appx. $9.00)
